When the Male Lead and Female Lead Broke Apart

I’ve possessed “Bellita,” the villainess of a romance fantasy novel — a character confirmed to die a brutal death after stalking the male lead and tormenting the female lead. If I want to live, there’s only one answer: break off the engagement with the male lead before the novel even begins, and leave this city. After careful, thorough planning, I successfully secure a diamond mine as settlement and get out of the engagement. …I thought I was finally safe. Then the shocking news arrives: the male lead and female lead have broken up. And everything spirals out of control — The male lead who despised me is now confessing his love. The female lead admires me like a savior. The man who was destined to kill me is flirting with me. And a character who didn’t even exist in the original story says he’ll stake his very life on me. The original story is in complete shambles… so why is the one thing that leads to my death still rolling forward on schedule? What kind of cruel unfairness is this? In an original story turned completely upside down — can I actually survive?
